DevPulseCon 2015 - 2019 and beyond

CodeChix pioneered the “hyper-technical” conference for technical women after it’s founder, Rupa Dachere, got frustrated with “women-only” conferences which only offered what she considered sub-standard technical content and teaching methods. Rupa wanted to create a conference where technical women would find high-quality content taught by developers (men and women) with a focus on technical growth. DevPulseCon caters to this sector of the industry and includes groundbreaking “safe-space” panels which was also pioneered by CodeChix at DevPulseCon 2015 to address cultural issues in the workplace.

Safe-Space Panelists @ DevPulseCon 2019

CodeChix Safe-Space Program and Ally Training

Psychological safety, dignity of choice in life-paths, inclusivity and, most importantly, trust, are the basis for the unique “Safe-Space” Program based on the “Safe-Space Panels” from DevPulseCon. Based on our learnings from 5 years of Safe-Space Panels, we offer this program to select industry partners who are interested in truly moving the needle for retention of women (and men) technologists in their R&D departments.

Ally training targeted towards employees on the technical and PM ladders is an additional offering providing unique insights and education for employees and leadership in R&D. We, at CodeChix, value the difference in mindset and culture that technical employees possess and seek to educate and guide to foster an environment beneficial for all.
